KidsView

For the little ones (newborn to JK) we like to keep things simple and fun, repeating one basic truth about God all month long. The nursery provides cuddles and care for the babies, and once they are moving around and ready for more, we introduce some fun games, crafts and an interactive large group Bible story and worship time. The three key things they learn each week are:

  • God made me.
  • God loves me.
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Children from SK to Grade 5 focus on a core virtue each month. In large group time, we come together to enjoy unforgettable Bible lessons, illustrated through drama and props, and intended to reinforce the virtue for the month. During this large group time, the children participate in upbeat, contemporary worship designed to engage them and create a heart of worship for God.  They also spend time in age appropriate small groups, where games and activities are used to teach them how live out these virtues at school and at home. We like to make the lessons practical and relevant to them…. And fun too!

We want children to experience and own the three basic truths, modeled by Jesus, that are reinforced each week:

  • I need to make the wise choice.
  • I can trust God no matter what.
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

 

Kids Night Out

We invite kids from SK to Grade 5 to join us on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm for an evening of fun beginning on January 17th.  It is a time for kids to build lasting friendships, have fun and learn about Jesus!  This evening is designed to be a place for those who have grown up in church, or who have never been to church before.  It’s a great place to invite friends to and to make new friends too!

 Sports plus

There is nothing like building relationships over a friendly game of floor hockey or dodge ball!   Other interactive activities will also help to keep things interesting and fun!   We want you to get in the game! 

Creative kids

Kids will explore their creative side through dance, music, drama and creative arts; yes, a little bit of everything!  Be a part of the fun; get a little crazy, connect with friends and be creative!
